Personal Experience and Skills

Mr. Modou G. Sowe has extensive experience in physical planning, housing administration, and development control.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Planning and Design from the University of The Gambia and Technician Diplomas I and II in Construction from the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI). He is currently pursuing an MSc in Real Estate at the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom.

His technical skills include Revit, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and Microsoft Office applications.

He has over 13 years of public-sector experience with the Department of Physical Planning and Housing, including responsibilities relating to development control, site inspections, lease processing, regulatory compliance, and project supervision.

At EMO, he is responsible for land acquisition, layout planning, estate agency operations, documentation, statutory compliance, and corporate governance.
